In 2013, our fiery passion led us to make it bigger and better, all for a fantastic cause. What started as a small gathering transformed into a remarkable annual event with over 3k attendee

🔥 Cooking Guidelines 🔥
All chili must be prepared on-site, beginning at 8:30 AM.
Submissions of 16 oz cups to the judges at 11 AM on center stage.
Chili Quantity:
Cooks are required to prepare a minimum of 7 gallons of chili for public service.
We recommend preparing 10 gallons to ensure sampling availability until 2:30 PM.
Categories:
Teams can participate in Texas Red (no beans or fillers) and/or Homestyle (anything goes).
All teams automatically enter the People's Choice category, emphasizing the importance of serving enough chili to the public for increased coin/vote chances. Cash prizes and/or other awards for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place teams
Cooking Setup:
Arrive as early as 7am (driving on the park's sidewalk or grass is strictly prohibited)
No open fires allowed.
Supplies to Bring:
Teams should bring their own 10 x 10 tent with stakes, cooking equipment, tables, chairs, fire extinguisher, gloves, and clean water.
Teams are advised to bring a small generator as a backup in case of power supply issues at the town park.
Provided Materials:
Each team will be supplied with up to 1000 sample cups and 1000 sample spoons.
